Conceptualized several years ago, Got Ur 6 came to live in 2020. After 10+ years of training with some of the best in the industry, and working for over 8 years for one of Miami’s most recognized instructors, the time to launch a new vision of firearms training arrived. Our goal is to train the student to understand their surroundings and how to effectively use it in a self defense scenario. We help break the tendency to “stand on the X” in an encounter by training your brain to automatically move while we fine tune your shooting skills to quickly align your sights an place accurate shots. We then dig into more complicated scenarios like handling multiple targets at the same time, shooting with your weak hand, shooting from behind cover or performing reloads with two and even one hand only. You’ll leave our class a much more proficient shooter than when you came in. 

Starting as a student, like many others,  over 10+ years ago, Sig took the time to train with some of the best in the area. Up until connecting with one of Miami’s most recognized firearms trainers. In just one year he became an NRA Certified Range Safety Officer and subsequently received Instructor Certification. Since then, he’s been perfecting techniques to help students become quickly proficient in firearms handling. Bringing a new level of situational awareness-training couple with accurate shot placement techniques that are sure to help the student build their confidence. 

Meet the shooter at whatever level they are presently and help them develop shooting tactics and skills that leave them better prepared to prevail if attacked.

In order to apply for the State of Florida Conceal Carry Permit license (CCW), you must first take a Basic Firearm Safety and Handling class, followed by actual live-fire with a firearm. We provide this class in private environments such as your home or office, and then perform the shooting part at a local range.  The cost of the class is $125.00 and includes the use of our firearms and 5 rounds of ammunition. It does not include range fees, eye / ear protection, or targets. Another option is to join one of our Tactical Pistol leve I classes where you will receive the lecture on safety and fundamentals of firearm handling but you will also practice with us for three hours using approximately 175-200 rounds. BASIC LEVEL I PISTOL

This is our recommended next step for the new shooter who still needs to work on their fundamentals to gain confidence. This private class is performed at a local indoor or outdoor range. We can arrange it for larger groups with prior notice. The class entails an explanation and demonstration of the shooting fundamentals and in depth pistol manipulation such as fixing cartridge and pistol malfunctions, performing speed or emergency, tactical, retention and administrative reloads.  You will need 100 to 200 rounds of ammunition and the class averages 2.5 to 3 hours during which the student will practice the fundamentals and execute a series of entry level drills. The fee for this class is $275.00 plus range fee, and  does not include eye / ear protection, targets or ammunition.  

Perfect for those who would like a more private environment and would like to bring their spouse, partner, friend or other family member.  These classes are for 1-3 people, but can be arranged for larger groups.  Call our office for more information.

PRIVATE BASIC LEVEL I PISTOL

1-3 students.  This class will be performed at a local outdoor range.  See above for course description and requirements.  The cost is $780 for the group  of up to 3 students, and includes range fees and targets.  Eye / ear protection, and ammunition are not included.  Pistol rentals are available.

PRIVATE TACTICAL PISTOL OR RIFLE CLASSES

1-4 students.  This class will be performed at an outdoor range.  This class is perfect once the student is familiar with the shooting fundamentals and is ready to progress to the next level.  The cost is $820 for the group of up to 4 for half day (4 hours), and $205 per additional student up to 8.  For a full 8 hour day the fee is $1300 for the group up to 4, plus $325 per additional student up to 8.  Fee includes range fees and targets.  Eye / ear protection, and ammunition are not included.  Pistol and Rifle rentals are available.

Our tactical courses follow a progression of skill levels geared to move the student along and improve their level of proficiency. These courses are more than just learning how to shoot, they are designed to instill a habit of maintaining awareness of one’s surroundings and teach how to use what is available at any given time during an encounter to help them come out victorious. The student will learn to shoot on the move, use strong and off hands, shoot from behind cover in several positions, perform different types of reloads, and clearing different types of malfunction. All techniques to help them prevail. Classes for both have 2 levels, and level 1 is a requirement to take the next level. The cost of these classes is $185 per student and include range fees and targets. Ammunition, eye / ear protection, firearms and other gear is not included, but can be rented from us. This class is 4 hours long.
